Mini Christmas room tour...

I'm finally back home from Uni for the holidays - 3 whole weeks off accompanied by a tonne of work to get on with. First things first, I got my bedroom looking a little more festive. As much as I love seeing OTT Christmas decorations, I personally go for subtle and simple ornaments and dressings that can be easily put up and taken down at the start of the New Year. Take a look...

The silver hearts were found in TK Maxx, I just added the twine at different lengths to give a little rustic twist. I love twinkly white lights at Christmas, they can make a room atmospheric without ruining the entire theme of the room itself, these battery powered lights are from a DIY and were really affordable. The little silver heart placed on my bedroom door is from a gifty shop, these types of shops are brilliant for finding quirky decorations. This one would look lovely tied onto a gift too.

What sort of decorations do you guys like? I'd love to see your festive rooms too, tweet me a pic or tag me on Instagram

  2. Yay, I love the little twinkle lights you put around your bed. The mister and I did the exact same thing! And enjoy your 3 weeks of just being home from school and spending time with your family and friends ;)

  6. I love your decorations! All of the silver accents are very wintery :) And you should totally tie the mini silver heart on a gift! I'm pretty into mint blues and pinks for christmas.
