This month has been full of America envy - I absolutely love all the "Fall" & Halloween activities, celebrations and decorations that I've been checking out on some of my favourite U.S blogs. It's such a shame we don't make much of a fuss about it here in the U.K... all I want to do is go to a Pumpkin Patch - Next year I'm contemplating a life swap, for the pumpkins.
To compensate for the lack of Pumpkin Patches and autumnal decorations in my life, I'm taking every opportunity to soak up the offerings that Autumn in England gives me.. Take a look.
What special things do you guys do in Autumn? I'd love to know...

Ohmygosh Harri - you remind me so much of Millie Mackintosh... you're beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have MEGA America envy too - all year round! I've been desperately googling pumpkin patches with no joy :(
All I've done so far is bought a mini pumpkin from Waitrose (they're called munchkins!).
Hey - don't forget MIC tonight :) Woooohoo! Xxx
Aww thanks Lucie, so kind. It's rubbish isn't it, think we should just plant our own Pumpkin Patch :) And of course I'll be watching MIC, can't wait!! xxx
DeleteOh my and what a delightful autumnal feast for the eyes. I'm with you and it's a dream of mine to see America in the fall - two months should do it....maybe one year - maybe.
ReplyDeleteNina x
Ah it would be dreamy, pumpkin patches & candy corn! x
DeleteIronically, we're going to the Pumpkin Patch/ Corn Maze today, but I also enjoy apple picking at the orchards. I don't see why you can't grow your own pumpkin patch, or pumpkin? England is lovely, if not more. You just have to make your own traditions, maybe then, other people will catch on! Happy Autumn! xoxo
ReplyDeleteAh I'm so jealous - have a brilliant time! I could do, I live in a capital city during the week & grassy spots are sparse, I shall become the night time pumpkin planter! xx
Deletewhoa you actually found some sun, it's seriously not happening up here at all. it's a lovely season and nice when it gets a bit more crisp and you have a nice big scarf on. yeah i would love to live in america, going for new year hopefully
ReplyDeleteIt was so lovely back home, however extremely rainy in my University home. Oooh, we'd love to go to America for New Year, super jealous! x
DeleteThese pictures almost look like stills out of a film. So beautiful!

ReplyDeleteThank you Marie, so nice of you to say :) x
DeleteYour photos are beautiful. I love Autumn, and I know what you mean I'm craving to go to a pumpkin patch!!! Oo conkers, there one of the best parts of Autumn as you can collect them, pop them in a bowl and leave them in the corner of your room and somehow it stops the spiders coming in!! Which is always good.
ReplyDeleteOh and you've also gained yourself another follower, I look forward to reading through your blog posts :)
Love Becky xx

DeleteFall is my favorite season, mostly for the climate in the Northeast of the US where i'm from. This year, I'm studying abroad in the south of spain, and it is so bizarre wearing shorts and t-shirts in October. not that i'm complaining of course (:
